Improve the Life of Your Vehicle
Road Safety
Nobody intends to be broken down on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere, or worse. Preventative maintenance can make sure you and your friends and family reach your destination safely. So, before you hit the road, take a few minutes to look at this brief vehicle summer-proofing checklist:
Air Conditioner
When you run your A/C, check for strange odors, unusual noises, or minimal or no cold air. If any or all of these problems pop up, you'll probably need to get your A/C system checked out.
Coolant
Check your radiator or overflow tank levels to make sure your engine is being properly cooled. Using a coolant tester can verify your water/coolant mix is good.
Automotive Fluids
Check your brake fluid, transmission fluid, and oil to make sure your vehicle, truck, or SUV's vital mechanical systems are properly lubricated at all times.
The 3 "B's"
Brakes
Remove your tires one-at-a-time and inspect your brake pads and/or shoes for any visible signs of wear-and-tear.
Battery
A battery tester can check the power levels of your battery to make sure your vehicle, truck, or SUV starts whenever you need it to.
Blades
Ensure your windshield wiper blades are in great shape and not bouncing across your dry windshield or leaving a mess on a wet one.
